Workin' It

Hey, everyone!

I hope that you've liked my projects so far. I have to admit that it has been a bit challenging trying to work with what came in my fabulous starter kit as a demonstrator. Ideas keep streaming into my head about trying all sorts of techniques and I need to remember to take it back a notch before things get way out of hand!

Having my first official workshop as a demo in two weeks and honestly, I'm pretty darn nervous about it! Thankfully, I love teaching and sharing information. That and party snacks. Point me in the direction of finger foods and I'm there stuffing my face. Pretty mental picture, I'm sure. :P

Just make sure that you check out what is just about the best promotion Stampin' Up! has all year:

It's been listed in my "Promotions" tab, but it doesn't hurt to put it on the front page, right? If you'd like to learn more about how you can earn even more free stuff during this wonderful time of the crafting year, just click on the picture above!

As always, feel free to contact me if you have any questions!

Baby Steps

Hello, everyone!

There are not many things that are better than welcoming a little one into the world. Here's a quick but cute card I made that uses an adorable a la carte stamp called Baby Steps. While the colros caters more towards a baby boy, you can definitely switch out a few colors like So Saffron or Regal Rose from the Subtles Collection (click to check them out) to give it a whole new attitude.

That is one the greatest things about the Idea Book & Catalog (click to see the PDF), it gives designer suggestions on color schemes for many occasions and then Stampin' Up! offers coordinating paper, inks, ribbons, and buttons. They can take all of the guess work out of trying to find the perfect matching shades so you can spend more time creating and enjoying your projects!

Here is my simple but sweet card:

You can even add the name of the bundle of joy in the space below the sentiment. Just another idea!

Feel free to ask me any questions about any of the projects I post,

Love Notes

Hello again!

I'm sure I don't have to tell you that Valentine's Day is just around the corner. For the past month, there has been pink, red, and hearts every where we look. Well, whether you like it or not, here are some more!

The nice thing about these tiny 3x3" cards is that they can double as thank you notes or just-because-you're-so-sweet notes complete with bite-sized candies attached.

Past Work

Hey there!

Here are a few of my pieces that I've made this past holiday season. In the future, I will be including the recipes with the photos of my work. Feel free to contact me with questions regarding these two projects.

A treat box make-and-take activity from the Creative Stampede.

I'm pretty sure half of my candy did not survive the car ride home.

My Christmas postcard with the sentiment adhered and popped up with Stampin' Dimensionals (104430).
I made over 60 of these in one night and it actually was a breeze! I'm still in awe.

Thanks for taking a look and I'll

The Lunar New Year

Hello!

Depending on who you ask, it's the Year of the Rabbit or Cat on Thursday, January 3rd! This is my sign and I am very excited to see what this year will bring.

To share in the celebration, I've made a set of three 3x3 inch luminaries or luminarias that have the greeting "Chúc Mừng Năm Mới" (Vietnamese for "Happy New Year") transcribed on each. There is a recipe after all the photos.
